Robert Fielding has 17 years of experience with Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax (“FAET”) matters. He has extensive knowledge of the FAET quarterly return, as well as the regulatory framework of FAET. He is considered a subject matter expert in the field and is able to consult on all aspects of FAET, including but not limited to, Constructive Sales Price methodology, Non-Taxable article calculations, Freight exclusion support, Tax Exempt/Free transactions, and much more. He brings the capability to create a custom-tailored FAET solution to all clients, large and small, no matter how complex the issue. He is also able to review a client’s sales and transactions to optimize their quarterly filings, so as to pay the correct amount of tax, while ensuring the clients are getting the best advice regarding any reductions to excise tax to which they are entitled. Mr. Fielding also has experience as a Corporate Trainer for a large public company, where he worked for seven years before beginning his FAET career. He can provide excellent, engaging training to clients that will help them to comply with all relevant regulations and accurately file their returns every quarter. Mr. Fielding also has extensive knowledge of alcohol and tobacco excise tax and regulations. Mr. Fielding obtained a Bachelor’s from the University of Maryland and resides in Concord, New Hampshire, and is available to travel nationally to client sites for training, FAET system review, including preparatory audits.
